This collection was purchased jointly with the Laboratory for
Drug
Discovery for Neurodegeneration (LDDN), with funding from the Dana
Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) Cancer Drug Assays program
(CDA),in November 2003. These
compounds are similar in complexity to all of our other commercial
compounds. However, this collection was compiled so that
the molecules have an increased probability of favorable physical-chemical
properties and a lack of functional groups that might cause toxicity
or reduce stability.
